Our St. Joseph’s Moms Group exists to support the mothers of our parish in two ways: first, to allow them (and their children) to grow in friendship and community with one another; second, to provide encouragement in their vocation as mothers. Motherhood is a beautiful yet messy vocation, and we want the mothers of our parish to know that they are not alone!

Many of our gatherings include our young children, like week day playdates at a local park, or our “Play & Pray Rosary Group” where the moms pray the rosary while the kids play at our feet. Sometimes we invite the Dads to join us and meet up somewhere for a weekend whole-family outing or gather at someone’s house for potluck-family-dinners. Once a month, we take time apart from our kiddos to just spend time together for a “Moms Night” so we can connect and grow in friendship as Catholic mothers.

We also have a monthly “Book Club” where we read a Catholic book and then get together at a local coffee shop to share how the book has moved our hearts. Seasonally (i.e. Advent/Lent) we read a devotional-based study in small groups in order to enter more fully into the liturgical seasons together.

Whether you work full-time or stay-at-home with your kids, have a newborn, high schooler or various ages in between–we would love for you to join our St. Joseph’s Moms Group!
